Placenta Encapsulation

$259.99

Local clients: As soon as possible, your placenta should be double bagged and put in to a fridge (preferred) or into a cooler with enough ice to cover it. Replace ice every 4-5 hours if necessary. If you are unable to keep the placenta in your room, it is safe in your trunk, in a cooler on ice, until pick up time. Send me a text any time, or call me between 7:00am and 8:00pm to arrange for pickup of your placenta. If your baby is born outside of pickup hours, please preserve your placenta in the fridge or on ice in the cooler provided and call me in the morning. Be sure to arrange for pickup before you leave the hospital or birth center. If you give birth in the hospital or birth center, make sure your placenta stays with you. If your care provider wants to have it tested, you can request that they take only a small portion of it. If your entire placenta leaves your room, it can not be encapsulated due to the possibility of unsafe handling or usage of chemicals. Your placenta can be kept at room temperature for up to five hours. Local clients can request a cooler and bags dropped off to your home location prior to birth, if desired.
